The highest navigable lake in the world where ancient civilizations escaped from mainland to settled in isolated islands in time of war they would make their living safe and to have a productive life there at lake Titicaca where they still keep their unusual traditions and rules.
The lake that's looks more like an ocean, and its people, descendants of the Incas where quechua language  and  Aymara from a far older culture is still spoken, a strong people who once ruled the high plateaus.

TOUR LAKE TITICACA 4d/3n
Uros, Amantani island overnight, Taquile Island

1st day:  We will pick you up at the train station (when you are coming from Cusco) and we will transfer you to the Hotel Casa Andina or similar.

2nd day: We will take you to the dock where you will board the boat to be heading to Uros Island where you will appreciate how those communities keep on living floating on the islands made of reed!   After that you will continue a journey through the great lake until you get Amantani Island where they will welcome you and there you will learn how those people keep their own traditions and their own rules.
You will spend a night on those local family houses.B,L,D

3rd day: After breakfast you will be navigating until you will reach Taquile island where again those communities still with their different traditions and rules from ancient times. A very relaxing time navigating and finally back to mainland Puno hotel.B,L

4th day: we will take you to Sillustani Grave towers where ancient Inca and pre-Inca leaders were buried on astonishing towers, and later to the airport where you will get your flight to Lima. B.
